The Brahma Kumaris Inner Space Retreat Centre provides weekend meditation retreats in 10 hectares of bushland and rolling hills. The accommodation is twin bedroom ensuite with leafy verandahs overlooking landscaped gardens.

The Inner Space Retreat Centre is about an hour drive from CBD along the M5 under normal conditions.
The Organisers:
Inner Space is a venue of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University,
www.bkwsu.com a non-governmental organization affiliated to the United Nations. Through over 8,500 branches in over 100 countries it offers a wide variety of programs on meditation and personal development.
What to bring:
Weekend Retreats: towel, 2 sheets, pillowcase, torch, umbrella, indoor shoes, notebook and pen.
Day or afternoon programs: notebook and pen.
Arrival times and other information:
Weekend Retreats: Arrival 5 - 7pm Friday. Dinner at 7pm; First session 8pm. Departure after lunch on the last day (Please inform us early if you do not require Friday dinner). We close at 9.30pm. You will derive the greatest benefit by arriving on time and attending the full program. Day programs: Registration 1/2 hour before program.
The Cost:
All programs are offered to the community in the spirit of service. Contributions in any form towards the running of the centre are greatly appreciated. Neither the facilitators nor the organizers receive any kind of payment for their service.
The Venue:
The Brahma Kumaris Inner Space Retreat Centre is a twelve-acre property offering wonderful meditation facilities including a balance of landscaped gardens, open grassed areas and natural bushland. Comfortable twin-share bedrooms with ensuite, featuring timber and sandstone.
Public Transport:
You can check train timetables on 131 500, or visit the Railways website on
http://www.cityrail.info/ We are on the Southern Highlands section. We collect guests from Picton Railway station. We will meet the 3.46pm Central train arriving at Picton at
4.56pm. Call prior to travelling to arrange your pick up.
Lifestyle:
Participants are asked to abstain from smoking and alcohol. Please dress modestly,
ie: no shorts, sleeveless tops or revealing clothes, in keeping with the
spiritual atmosphere. To obtain the most benefit for the programs, it is recommended not to bring novels, magazines and music unless of a spiritual nature.
Food:
All meals provided are pure vegetarian. Whilst we are happy to cater for special diets, please only request these for a genuine medical reason. (Please do not ask for dairy free diet and then have some of Matthew's famous home made ice cream).
