The Brahma Kumaris (also known as Raja Yogis) are engaged in researching and teaching the ancient art of Raja Yoga Meditation, a silent open-eyed meditation that connects the soul to God.
A group of women were entrusted with the guidance of the organisation when the founder passed away in 1969. These elder sisters, or Dadis, have dedicated 62 years of their lives to spirituality, with many joining the Brahma Kumaris when they were young girls. Today they are acknowledged throughout the world as significant spiritual leaders. They open their home and their hearts to you.

Who are the Brahma Kumaris?
Through 5000 teaching centres in 86 countries the Brahma Kumaris offer people an opportunity to study meditation and explore the ethical issues of living in a complex world. As a non-governmental organisation, the Brahma Kumaris work in collaboration with government, community based and private sector organisations all over the world. Since 1981 the Brahma Kumaris have been affiliated to the United Nations, initiating and participating in programs to promote peace, community harmony and co-operation. In all aspects of these activities women are very active in leadership and innovation.
Retreat information
Once you book for Peace of Mind, we will assist you with information and advice for travel. It is recommended that you book your flights and any side trips with the help of the National Co-ordinating Office of the Brahma Kumaris in your country.
Road travel to and from the nearest airport (at Ahmedabad) will cost no more than US$50. Once at Mt Abu, you are our guests.
Mt Abu is accessible to many famous holiday places such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Agra and Delhi.
